Took off work and headed home to get some dirt in. I rode up to the zoo and then across the trail, which btw, is almost completely dry all the way to dry creek. Ran into AG at Red Butte, heading the opposite way. Turned around at dry creek and headed back the way I came, when just above the U Hospital.....

You're too nice. I know you love dogs and wouldn't want to send one to the gas chamber but what if the next person that little sucker attacks is a kid? I say, nuke all the biters from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
That sucks. I am with everyone on the reporting it thing. I have a scar on my right calf from where I was bitten. Let us know if you get an urge to howl at the moon.
More cougars, fewer off-leash dogs.
Forget kicking the dog (though I would have done that, too), I would have gone for a beat down on the owner. Wow.

When I got ambushed on my road bike by two loose dogs a few years ago I reported it and that owner got a hefty fine in the $1000's of dollars. All the damages to my bike (bent wheels, flat tires)and clothing (ripped and torn)I just sucked up.
My main reason for reporting it was to ensure that some little kid that might wander down the street in front of that house would hopefully be a bit safer from those same crazy cookoo dogs.
