To be fair to myself, have had Sinus migraines all week. But dang, that course was fun.
The whole front line was DQ'd for false starting and not re-setting, so I finished well. Maybe, not.

A few more races left. Yew can dooo it! Yea, whats with those false starts. It has happened a few times now. Maybe a count down is needed?

Just start at the back like me, then it doesn't matter because you're off-the-back regardless.
Countdown is the anti-solution, then the guys on the front anticipate the start and jump the gun. I think Flahute is learning, we just have to be patient with him.
The whole reason I stopped doing countdowns was because of the false starts ...
Trying to find the right balance between the complete surprise start, where people get caught out, and the countdown where people jump the gun.
This was actually the first time I had anyone jump the gun on the "surprise" start.
I kind of like the idea of firing a shot in front of the line ... ;)
